Village Board Appointed Positions
Weed Commissioner:
- Assures compliance with Noxious Weed Control Ordinance
Animal Control Officer: Marlene Stueland
- Upholds Village Dog Ordinance seeking assistance as necessary from Wood County Humane Society and/or Wood County Sheriff's Department
Street Commissioner: Mike Draxler
Deputy Street Commissioner: Jamie Wenzel
- Serves as the Chairperson on Street Committee scheduling and conducting meetings as needed.
- Schedules and oversees general street maintenance in accordance with the annual plan.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of annual street maintenance reports to the County, etc. as requested.
- Responsible for oversight of completion and submission of state, federal aid grant applications for street projects as applicable in coordination with external collaborators.
- Responsible for filing request and submission of LRIP funding opportunities.
- Provides input to the annual Village budget for street maintenance/improvements.
- Provides a monthly report to Village Board on street-related topics/issues with recommendations as appropriate.
