Garbage, waste removal, and recycling services are currently provided by Waste Management.

Weekly Garbage Collection Guidelines

• Garbage pickup is once per week in the provided cart.
• Garbage must be placed curbside the night before or prior to 6 AM on the scheduled day of collection.
• Place your cart at least 3 feet away from all objects including your second cart, mailbox, etc. to enable the automatic arm to lift and empty the cart(s).  The lid opening should face the street with the wheels facing your house.
• All garbage must fit inside the cart with the lid closed.  Materials outside the cart will not be collected.
• Excess residential garbage and large items may be dropped off at 501 S. Hume Ave. Marshfield Monday 7 AM - 5 PM, Tuesday thru Friday 7 AM - 3 PM.  Photo ID required.  A fee may be charged.
• Items not accepted for pickup include:  electronics, appliances, auto batteries & yard waste.
  
  

Bulk Waste, Electronics, Appliances & Construction Drop-Off

Residents may dispose of bulk items, electronics, appliances, construction materials, and refuse during normal hours at 501 S. Hume Ave. Marshfield.  Photo ID required.  No charge for bulk waste.  Fee required for other.

Every-Other Week Recycling Collection

• Recycling will be picked up every other week in the provided cart on the same day as your weekly trash collection. See calendar for dates.
• Place your recycling cart curbside the night before or prior to 6 AM on pickup day.
• Place recyclables loose in the recycling cart.  DO NOT bag your recyclables.
• Place your cart at least 3 feet away from all objects including your second cart, mailbox, etc. to enable the automatic arm to lift and empty carts.
• The lid opening should face the street with the wheels of the cart facing your house.
• If you need a new cart, call 715-502-3565.
  
  

Yard Waste and Brush

Residents are able to drop off yard waste and brush at the compost site located at 18th Street and Hume Ave., Marshfield 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
